The club has a beautiful bowling green with its own clubhouse, situated at the west end of the car park. All members of the club over the age of 12 years are entitled and welcome to use the facility, subject only to the rules of the sport and the byelaws of the bowls section.

Initial fees are covered by each member’s annual gymkhana subscription. Coaching is available for both beginners and the more experienced bowlers.

Bowls Club Nite - Thursday 1545 hrs  for 1600 hrs start
Floodlit Bowls and Beer - Friday 1645 for 1700 start 
Afternoon Social Bowls - Saturday 1345 hrs for 1400 hrs start 
Sunrise Social Bowls - Sunday 0945 hrs for 1000  hrs start
Family Social Bowls- Sunday: 1515 hrs  for 1530 hrs start


Members and children of the bowls section entertain  the children of Thomas Barnados Home to a fun day at the green.

These events together with fund raising days for the KSPCA have generated hundreds of thousands of shillings for these deserving charitable organisations.

The bowling green is also a popular venue for private parties and functions. It offers bowling, a friendly bar and catering  facilities.

Karen bowling green is of international standards with senior members qualified to international umpiring standards.
Our club has succesfully hosted the ladies section of the African States Bowling Tournament and was highly praised for the excellence of the organisation of the competition.
